Yes, these test strips are normally sold over the counter or are provided by your insurance company typically without a prescription.  Really, the only diabetic test strips that cannot be sold are boxes that have the Medicare, Medicaid, or that have DME labeled on them.
All of the other supplies that are sealed and not expired, like for example test strips, insulin pumps, and reservoirs are fine to sell.

Is Local PickUp available?

Yes, please fill out the form above to schedule a local pickup in Palm Beach, Broward and North Dade Counties. All customers outside of those areas are encourage to get a quote and then use our mail service.

Why do I first have to send in my test strips before I receive Payment?

Occasionally, we receive test strips that are expired, open or otherwise incorrectly described.
In addition, there are certain brands that we do not buy.
As soon as we receive your shipment and verify your items, we will quickly release your payment.

Do I have to pay for shipping?

No. When you request to sell us your supplies we mail you a package at our own expense, containing a return package and a prepaid shipping label. You do not incur any shipping costs when dealing with us whatsoever.

How do i know that I will receive my payment after I send you my strips?

We value the relationship with our customer’s VERY MUCH, more than making money.  This is a business where customers keep coming back.  Additionally, customers can leave feedback both good and bad, we like excellent feedback.  So you see we are held to a higher standard, that is why we bend over backwards to remit payments the next day or in many cases the same day.  We are the fastest with regards to remitting payments.

How will i receive my payment after you receive my supplies?

We pay using PayPal, Zelle, CashApp, Venmo or we can pay by Check which we will promptly send by mail.
On large orders we will either pay you with PayPal or send you a check via USPS priority mail envelope.

Are there special instructions for shipping that I need to follow when I ship my diabetic supplies to you?

Yes, please ONLY use a small sturdy a cardboard box.  Please refrain from using a thin box as mail carriers may inadvertently crush your test strip boxes thus greatly reducing the value of your boxes.  We use 6 X 6 X 6 boxes that we buy from Walmart or eBay these weigh only a few ounces (2.6 – 3.6 OZ’s) each and can be mailed using first class postage.  Also, pack it in such a way that there is no shifting.  We just put the boxes in a 1-gallon size Ziploc bag (which also keeps them dry as well).  You can also use lightweight packing material.  Additionally, we will send you a first class pre-paid shipping label.  Therefore, when you are using our first class label you CANNOT use one of the USPS priority boxes, as this will be returned to you.  To avoid delays please use a plain box as mentioned above if you are sending it first class.

sell your excess supplies

Why should i sell my excess diabetic testing supplies?

June 20, 20243 min read

Selling your excess diabetic testing supplies can be beneficial for several reasons, both for you and for others who may need them. Here’s a detailed look at why you might consider doing this:

1. Financial Incentive

  • Recoup Costs: Diabetic testing supplies can be expensive. Selling your excess supplies can help you recoup some of the costs, especially if you've over-purchased or if your insurance has changed, leaving you with a surplus.

  • Earn Extra Income: If you regularly end up with extra supplies, selling them can become a small but steady source of additional income.

2. Reduce Waste

  • Prevent Expiration: Medical supplies have a shelf life. Selling your excess supplies before they expire ensures that they are used, rather than ending up in the trash.

  • Sustainable Practices: Reducing waste by selling rather than discarding aligns with environmentally friendly practices. It minimizes the environmental impact of producing and disposing of medical supplies.

3. Help Others in Need

  • Accessibility: Not everyone has easy access to affordable diabetic testing supplies. By selling yours, you can help individuals who might otherwise struggle to obtain them.

  • Support Uninsured or Underinsured: Many people lack adequate insurance coverage for diabetes management supplies. Selling your excess can provide a more affordable option for these individuals.

4. De-clutter Your Space

  • Manage Inventory: Excess supplies can take up valuable space in your home. Selling them can help you keep your living space organized and free of unnecessary clutter.

  • Simplify Storage: Managing fewer supplies can make it easier to keep track of what you have and what you need, simplifying your diabetes management routine.

5. Responsibility and Compliance

  • Ethical Considerations: Instead of hoarding supplies or letting them go to waste, selling them can be a more responsible choice.

  • Legal and Safe Disposal: Selling to certified and authorized buyers ensures that the supplies are handled appropriately and reach those who need them.

6. Market Demand

  • Growing Need: The number of people with diabetes is increasing globally, leading to a growing demand for affordable testing supplies.

  • Secondary Market: There is a robust secondary market for diabetic supplies, indicating that there is both a need and a demand for such products.

7. Ease of Selling

  • Convenience: Numerous platforms and companies specialize in purchasing diabetic testing supplies. These can offer a hassle-free way to sell your excess supplies.

  • Competitive Offers: Many buyers provide competitive rates, making it worthwhile to sell rather than hold onto unused supplies.

Considerations Before Selling

Before you decide to sell your excess diabetic testing supplies, it’s important to consider a few things:

  • Check Local Regulations: Some regions have specific laws regarding the sale of medical supplies. Ensure you comply with these regulations.

  • Verify Buyers: Ensure that you are selling to reputable buyers to avoid scams and ensure your supplies are used appropriately.

  • Maintain Your Own Needs: Always keep a sufficient amount of supplies for your own needs before deciding to sell the excess.

Selling your excess diabetic testing supplies can be a win-win situation: it can provide financial benefits to you, reduce waste, help others in need, and keep your living space organized. Make sure to research and choose reliable and legal avenues for selling your supplies.
